Eventually, I'd like to run a marathon in all fifty states. I don't want it to be one of those compulsive quests, but instead a nice leisurely exploration of the country over several years. So far, I've run a marathon in 21 states: Pennsylvania, Delaware, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Colorado, California, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Virginia, Rhode Island, Vermont, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Texas, Florida, and Arkansas.
